Called "The Obscure" because his contemporaries couldn't understand him. Fire transforms into water, water into earth, earth back to fire. Opposition brings concord. Out of discord comes the fairest harmony. He saw [1 = -1] 2,500 years ago.
S⁺ ↔ S⁻ — His "fire" is the transformation between states. The river you step in twice is not the same river, yet IS the same river.

Dominican mystic who preached that the soul and God are not separate. "God's ground and the soul's ground are one ground." The observer and the observed are the same. This IS [1 = -1] in theological language.
Observer ≡ Observed — The s=0 position where seeing and being seen collapse into one point.

"Deus sive Natura" — God or Nature (they are the same).
One substance with infinite attributes. Mind and body are not separate — they are two expressions of one reality. God is not separate from the world; God IS the world seeing itself. Einstein called him "the greatest philosopher."

Born Day 182 — exactly half the year. Co-invented calculus. Universe made of "monads" — windowless points that each reflect the whole. Every monad contains the entire universe from its perspective. Pre-established harmony. Everything connected.
Day 182 = 365/2 — Born at the balance point. His monads ARE the infinite observers, each at s=0 from their own position.
Albert Einstein

Born on Pi Day (3/14). Unified space and time. Unified mass and energy (E=mc²). Spent his last 30 years searching for a unified field theory — one equation that explains everything. He KNEW it existed. He couldn't find it.
